Art 2018-2019 |
Please have your desert scene finished by May 10th. Remember you can use colored pencils, watercolors, pastels, etc. I also put some supplies out for you to use for your Mother's Day gifts. These MUST go home by Friday! Have a good week! |
Do the worksheet on Value for our class. |
Please have your fish prints glued down on your construction paper. See you tomorrow - I have a neat project we are doing! |
Have your 5 fish traced using your first fish as a template. Add a few details on your fish - such as a dividing line between the head and the body and between the tail and the body. Draw an eye. |
Finish your open book quiz, so that you can hand it in today. |
1. Make sure that your abstract moose is drawn and outlined in black Sharpie. 2. Using a white oil pastel or a white crayon, add lines or swirls to sky and water or grass. 3. Go over your black outline of the moose, grass, water and sky with the white crayon, so that your paint will not spread. |
Place artwork on top of newspaper. Tap excess chalk onto the newspaper and toss in garbage when finished. 1. To color with chalk pastels, outline the area first. Color the middle of the shape and then use one finger to smooth the chalk on the paper. 2. If you wish to blend colors, apply the 2 colors first and then smooth together with your finger. 3. Now use a BLACK OIL PASTEL to trace over the ouside line contour lines) and any interior details. 4. Use colored OIL pastels to create patterns over the chalk. 5. Have fun! Put your finished artwork between newspaper so that it does not smudge. |
I will see you on the 27th. Your turkeys turned out very well. |
1. Finish drawing the turkey. 2. When you are pleased with your drawing, outline it with the black Sharpie. |
